Criminal Justice Section: Re-Entry & Collateral Consequences Committee

Criminal Justice Section:
Re-Entry & Collateral Consequences Committee

Message from the Co-Chairs

Welcome to the Re-Entry & Collateral Consequences Committee.

This Committee focuses on the barriers that offenders face in reentering society after either receiving a criminal conviction or returning from incarceration to the Community. Many offenders face obstacles in the areas of employment, housing, educational opportunities and other areas which impact their ability to become a law abiding citizen. The Committee will focus specifically on trying to assist offenders to rebuild their lives and re-enter society with the goal of achieving a productive future.
