Mission Statement

The Committee's mission is to (1) to provide leadership in the development of commentary on the laws regulating government corporations (corporations specially chartered by state or federal governments, or by international agreement, to carry out specific tasks of governmental interest), (2) to guide and assist directors, officers and counsel for government corporations, as well as legislative and executive governmental bodies, by publishing expertly developed materials addressing critical questions of governance, duty, authority, structure, power, rights and obligations associated with government corporations, including commentary and other practice tools and (3) to provide updates on current legal developments affecting government corporations for committee members through committee reports and publications.
