U.S. Supreme Court Criminal Cases

 

 

 

Each year the Criminal Justice Section monitors the criminal law opinions of the U.S. Supreme Court. The Section provides timely summaries of criminal law decisions as well as links to the actual opinions. The cases in this issue, from the 2005 and 2004 terms, are presented in chronological order.

Georgia Death Penalty Assessment Report

 

 

To assess fairness and accuracy in Georgia’s death penalty system, the Georgia Death Penalty Assessment Team researched twelve relevant issues and analyzed the level of compliance with the relevant ABA Recommendations.
