Register NOW! and join the ABA Center for Professional Responsibility in Boston on May 28-31 for the 34th National Conference on Professional Responsibility and 24th National Forum on Client Protection.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the creation of the Center and the 100th anniversary of the ABA adoption of its Canons of Professional Ethics.
We look forward to celebrating these milestones as we bring together legal scholars, jurists and specialists to discuss current issues in the area of professional responsibility law.

The 34th National Conference on Professional Responsibility will be held May 28-31, 2008.

• Ethics of representing unpopular clients
Conflicts of interest
• Litigation ethics
Holding lawyers accountable for client behavior
Regulating Internet advertising
• Unethical obedience by subordinate lawyers

In addition, on Friday afternoon we will also offer two informal discussions (non-CLE) for 1) academics to discuss research projects other scholarship ideas and 2) firm counsel who perform an ethics or risk management function, sponsored by the ABA Business Law Section Committee on Professional Conduct Firm Counsel Project.

Conference attendees are invited to attend a luncheon on Thursday, May 29, 2008 to honor the 2008 recipient of the annual Michael Franck Professional Responsibility Award.
