About the Forum
The ABA Standing Committee on Client Protection invites you to attend the 26th National Forum on Client Protection at the Westin Seattle Hotel on June 4-5, 2010. The Forum is held in conjunction with the 36th National Conference on Professional Responsibility. The Forum is a national educational, informational and networking event for professionals working the area of client protection. Our open arena offers a stimulating mix of formal educational sessions with the opportunity for an informal exchange of ideas. Topics to be explored include handling cross-border claims for reimbursement; recovering funds following lawyer bankruptcy and criminal proceedings; getting the most out of your fund's reserves; a discussion of hot topics for lawyers' funds for client protection; and the implications of a lawyer's role in loan modification scams. We will also hold our annual Town Hall Meeting. The National Client Protection Organization will present a Difficult Claims Workshop and the seventh annual Isaac Hecht Law Client Protection Award.
We look forward to seeing you in Seattle!

CLE Credit
Required sponsor documentation has been forwarded to and credit requested from MCLE states with general requirements for all lawyers. Lawyers seeking credit in Pennsylvania must pay fees of $1.50 per credit hour directly to the Pennsylvania CLE Board. The ABA pays applicable fees in other states where the sponsor is required to do so and in states where a late fee may become applicable. Please be aware that each state has its own rules and regulations, including its definition of "CLE"; therefore, certain programs may not receive credit in some states. Contact the ABA Service Center toll free at 800-285-2221 or Ben Woodson at 312-988-5325 or woodsonb@staff.abanet.org for confirmation of the number of CLE credit hours requested by the ABA or credit approved by any particular state.
