Planning Committee for the National Conference on Professional Responsibility

The Conference Planning Committee has primary oversight responsibility for the selection of speakers and topics for conferences in which the Center for Professional Responsibility and its committees are substantively involved, either as primary sponsors or as co-sponsors. The principal focus of the committee is the Center's annual National Conference on Professional Responsibility, which has been held every year since 1975.

The National Conference is a three-day conference at which national experts in the field of professional responsibility participate in panel discussions and the exchange of ideas concerning emerging issues in professional regulation, ethics, professionalism and related topics. In addition to those who practice in the ethics and disciplinary fields, the Conference attracts academics, members of the judiciary and bar leaders from around the country. Formal panel discussions are supplemented by informal sessions in which new approaches to emerging issues are discussed. The Conference draws approximately 350 attendees and qualifies for CLE credit in most jurisdictions.
