State and Local Procurement Division Committees
- Assists in the implementation of the Model Procurement Code at
the state and local level, and monitors the development of procurement
law in MPC jurisdictions.
- Coordinates the development of annual forums on the status, operation
and improvement of procurement law at the state and local level,
frequently in cooperation with local bar associations and purchase groups.
- Coordinates preparation of the Section's comments on proposed
state and local procurement law and regulatory change, consistent
with the ABA Model Procurement Code.

Monitors, reviews and assesses issues associated with procurement of
services by state and local governments with
federal dollars, whether in the form of a grant or otherwise.

* To create, launch and maintain a web site database listing
all State statutes and regulations, local ordinances (where
available), and other legislative or regulatory enactments affecting
procurement at the State and local level.
* To include in the database case law summaries of State-level
procurement decisions, which will be searchable by key word and/or subject
matter.
* To structure and organize the content of the database so as to
maximize its usefulness to members of the Section of Public Contract Law.
