The Section offers reduced registration fees for educational programs to full time government and academic members. The Section is an enthusiastic participant in the ABA's membership programs for government attorneys. As part of its fall and spring council meetings, the Section sponsors a full day of educational programming on the Friday before the Saturday Council Meeting. In March in connection with its Midyear Council Meeting, the Section sponsors an annual two-day Federal Procurement Institute in Annapolis, MD. Details on these programs are usually mailed to Section members six to eight weeks prior to the events.
