Fifth Annual Federal Procurement Institute

February 25-26, 1999

Loews Annapolis Hotel – Annapolis, MD

Procurement reform continues its roller coaster ride. How will the twists and turns in procurement practices affect you? Come to this program and hear from the people who’ve been in the forefront of analyzing and applying these changes. Experts in procurement law and policy will be on interactive panels which will cover:

• Collection and use of Past Performance Information.

• Implementation of Commercial Products and Multiple Award Contracts.

• Update on developments in International Procurement.

• Critique on the CAS Board Review Panel’s evaluation and conclusions.

• New and continuing issues in Fraud and Compliance Programs.

• Viewpoints on ADR by Judges of the COFC, ASBCA, GSBCA, and Federal Circuit.

• Use of New and Revised Procurement Techniques.

• Review of recent initiatives to enhance Small Business Opportunities.

• Stimulating session on Ethics.

The Fifth Annual Federal Procurement Institute–jointly sponsored this year by the ABA Section of Public Contract Law and the National Contract Management Association–anticipates and encourages audience participation and interaction. Government counsel, corporate counsel, members of the private bar, contract managers, and other members of the procurement profession will find this annual forum an excellent opportunity for an in-depth review of the spectrum of government contracts implementation issues. There will be time set aside for committees to meet before and after the program sessions.

Include Saturday, February 27, on your agenda and attend the Section’s Council Meeting where there will be discussion of important issues to government contracts practitioners.

Put this meeting on your "don’t miss" calendar. Register now to take advantage of the discounted rate.

Wednesday, February 24
