Program Description

The panel will explore topics ranging from basic request for production of documents and interrogatories to tips on taking depositions of experts, and more.  Utilizing subpoenas and records depositions will be discussed as well as other advanced discovery techniques.

Program Faculty

Ms. Tracy A. Cinocca concentrates primarily in family law and civil litigation. Ms. Cinocca was an Oklahoma Supreme Court Certified Mediator -- Early Settlement and pursued international legal studies with Loyola University Chicago School of Law -Rome Center.

She has been active in the Tulsa County Bar Association since 1999 and has served several years on the Professional Responsibility Tribunal.  Other previous memberships include the Oklahoma County Bar Association, the OBA Young Lawyers Association, and the American Trial Lawyers Association. She has been a member of the ABA since 2002 and currently serves as the Chair of the Young Lawyers Business Newsletter Committee and Region IV Council Member of Family Law Section.

Her publications include: “The Need for a Family Decision Making Statute in Oklahoma.” Oklahoma Bar Journal. Vol. 69, No. 48, (12/26/98), and Careers in the Law: Success Without College. Barron’s Educational Series, Inc. p. 184 (2001).

Scott N. Friedman practices family relations law with Friedman & Mirman Co., L.P.A. in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Friedman is an Ohio State Bar Association Family Relations Law Specialist.

Mr. Friedman is a member of the Columbus Bar Association’s Family Law Committee, the Ohio State Bar Association Family Law Committee, and the ABA Family Law Committee.  He is also active with the ABA Section of Family Law where he serves on Council and is former co-chair of the CLE Committee.

Mr. Friedman is a frequent state and national speaker and is a graduate of the American Bar Association’s Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute.

 

CLE Credit*

1.5 hours of CLE credit in 60-minute states/1.8 hours of CLE credit in 50-minute states have been requested in states accrediting ABA teleconferences and live audio webcasts.*

NY-licensed attorneys: This non-transitional CLE program has been approved for experienced NY-licensed attorneys in accordance with the requirements of the New York State CLE Board for 1.5 total NY CLE credits.

The following states accept ABA teleconferences for mandatory CLE credit:
