A recent news release from the National Federation of Independent Business points out that a significant portion of the Supreme Court’s 2007 docket (a total of 29 cases) related to issues affecting businesses, including tort reform and employment law. These Supreme Court decisions should be of great concern to lawyers who represent businesses, including small ones. This ABA Journal article and ABA-CLE program will review the just-ended term for the decisions that affect businesses and other business-related cases coming from the lower courts that would likely be considered by the justices in the term that starts next fall.
