Barton Child Law and Policy Clinic
Emory University School of Law (GA)

The Barton Clinic was established to address the need in Georgia for an organization dedicated to effecting systemic policy and process changes for the benefit of the children in Georgia's child welfare system. The clinic helps Georgia serve neglected and abused children by providing multi-disciplinary, child-focused research, training, and support for practitioners and policymakers charged with protecting Georgia's children. Located at Emory Law School, the clinic collaborates with Emory's School of Public Health, School of Nursing, School of Medicine and the Center for Violence Studies, as well as other Georgia colleges and universities.

Hofstra University School of Law

The Center for Children, Families and the Law was established in response to the urgent need for more effective representation for children and families in crisis. Its unique interdisciplinary program of education, community service and research is designed to encourage professionals from law and mental health to work together for the benefit of children and families involved in the legal system.


Center for Children's Rights
Whittier Law School

The Center for Children's Rights Program prepares future attorneys who have an interest in helping children either as practitioners in the area, or through pro bono service. Children's rights law covers a broad range of issues, such as abuse and neglect and delinquency, as well as cutting-edge cases involving new fertility technologies which challenge the definition of "parent" under the law.

ChildLaw Center and Clinic offer degree programs for legal and non-legal professionals who seek a specialized understanding of the law in order to better serve the unique needs of children and families. Our mission is to promote justice for children through interdisciplinary teaching, scholarship and service, and through the development of a new legal specialty, pediatric law.

The Children and Family Justice Center (CFJC) is a comprehensive children's law center where law students, under the supervision of attorneys and clinical professors, represent young people on matters of delinquency and crime, family violence, school discipline, health and disability, and immigration and asylum. We collaborate with communities and child welfare, educational, mental health and juvenile justice systems to develop fair and effective policies and solutions for reform.


Corinne Wolf Children's Law Center
University of New Mexico School of Law

The Corinne Wolfe Children’s Law Center, a center within the Institute of Public Law at the University of New Mexico School of Law dedicated to improving outcomes for children involved in abuse or neglect and delinquency proceedings in New Mexico. The Center was established by the New Mexico Supreme Court Foster Care Task Force to increase the effectiveness of judicial proceedings under the Children’s Code by providing training and other educational resources to the professionals and volunteers who participate in them.


Joan and Lyle Middleton Center for Children's Rights
Drake Law School

The Joan and Lyle Middleton Center for Children's Rights became part of Drake University Law School's pioneering in-house clinical program in Fall 2001. The Children's Center uses an interdisciplinary approach to provide improved service to children and families in need of assistance. The Children's Center has four components: legal services provided through the Children's Rights Clinic, interdisciplinary training, resources and policy-making.
