Center for Families, Children and the Courts
The Center for Families, Children & the Courts (CFCC) is a division of the Judicial Council's Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC). The AOC Center for Families, Children & the Courts (CFCC) is dedicated to improving the quality of justice and services to meet the diverse needs of children, youth, families, and self-represented litigants in the California courts. The Center is involved with many projects related to family, juvenile, child support, custody, visitation, and domestic violence law and procedure. Ongoing projects include developing rules, forms, and standards; providing training, education, and grants; and coordinating research and statistical analysis.
The Children’s Law Center is to protect the interest of indigent children in family court and to advocate policies, which advance their well-being and best interest. Through its programs and services the Children’s Law Center strives to create safe, stable environments for children whose parents are in chronic conflict.
The Children's Law Center (CLC) is the largest civil legal service provider in DC and the only organization that provides comprehensive legal representation specifically for children. CLC helps at-risk children in the District of Columbia find safe, permanent homes and the education, health care and social services they need to flourish by providing a comprehensive range of legal services to children, families, and foster and kinship caregivers. The Center is committed to sharing its expertise with the community, other professionals and policymakers through training, technical assistance, and systemic advocacy.
The Childern's Law Center of Kentucky was established to protect and enhance the legal rights and entitlements of children in Kentucky through quality legal representation, research and policy development, and training and education to attorneys and others regarding the rights of children. Our priorities include juvenile justice, child welfare, and education issues generally, as well as emphasis on improving the quality of and accessibility to legal representation, for children in Kentucky and Ohio.
Children's Law Center of Los Angeles
The Children's Law Center of Los Angeles is a nonprofit, public interest legal organization that serves as the "voice" for abused and neglected youth in one of the largest foster care systems in the nation. Children who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned come under the protection of the Los Angeles County Juvenile Dependency Court system. Children's Law Center was created by the Superior Court over a decade ago to serve as appointed counsel for these youth.
The Children's Law Center Of Massachusetts is a private, non-profit, legal advocacy and resource center providing direct representation to low income children in Eastern Massachusetts, and technical assistance and training to lay and professional communities throughout New England on issues affecting children's education, civil rights, custody, health and welfare.
The Children's Law Office is a resource center for South Carolina professionals who are involved in child maltreatment or juvenile justice court proceedings. The overall purpose of the Children's Law Office is to help professionals to enhance their knowledge and skills, so that court proceedings will have the best possible outcomes for children.
Florida's Children First main goal is to advance children's rights consistent with their medical, educational and social needs. We use legislative and policy advocacy, executive branch monitoring, training and technical assistance to lawyers representing children, public awareness, recruiting of pro bono attorneys and filing of amicus briefs as strategies to improve child serving systems.
Kids Legal Aid is a statewide project within Pine Tree Legal Assistance. We specialize in legal services addressing the needs of low-income Maine children. We provide direct representation, consultations and group trainings.
Legal Services for Childen, San Francisco
LSC's mission is to ensure that all children and youth in San Francisco Bay Area have an opportunity to be raised in a safe environment with equal access to a meaningful education and the services and supports they need to become healthy and productive young adults. LSC pioneered a unique interdisciplinary approach to legal services, employing teams of attorneys and social workers to comprehensively meet the needs of our clients.
Rocky Moutain Children's Law Center
The Rocky Mountain Children's Law Center strives to deliver high quality legal services for at-risk and maltreated children, promote their healing and healthy development, and ensure that each foster child finds a permanent, loving home - whether this is with their biological family or a new family - as soon as possible.
Support Center for Child Advocates, Philadelphia
The Support Center for Child Advocates, is the country's oldest and largest pro bono legal and social services agency for children. Our mission is to advocate for abused and neglected children in Philadelphia, with the goal of securing a permanent, nurturing environment for every child.
TLC's mission is to improve case outcomes for abused and neglected children by enhancing the quality of legal services they receive. The most important decisions about an abused or neglected child's future are made in court. TLC exists to help insure that those decisions are the right ones for the child.
