Anyone seriously interested in criminal law should start as a prosecutor or public defender. You get immediate trial experience and the ability to make your own decisions.

Career Path to Current Position:
I was a federal prosecutor for almost ten years; then I spent five years in a large local firm. I have had my own small firm for the past nine years.
