I learned about an open position while in a private law firm through colleagues I was working with. Having done relevant pro bono work in private practice was very helpful.

I serve on numerous boards, including the American Bar Association, Individual Rights & Responsibilities Section Council; the Executive Committee, Leadership Conference for Civil Rights; the National Policy Council of the Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund; and the Georgetown University Law Center Women's Law & Public Policy Fellowship Program. I am a member of the American Law Institute and a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
