Career Path to Current Position:
I clerked for a federal district court judge, and joined the
large Washington, D.C.-based firm of Hogan & Hartson, where
I became partner. I joined Latham & Watkins as a partner in
1990 to obtain a larger platform for my practice. I also served
in the Clinton Administration as the Deputy Secretary of the Interior.
