How?
Career Path to Current Position:
Former Executive Director of Atlanta Lawyers for the Arts, an
organization that provides legal assistance to artists and arts
organizations. Previously, he worked with Lawyers for the Creative
Arts in Chicago and California Lawyers for the Arts in San Francisco,
Los Angeles, Oakland and Sacramento. Mr. Morris has been a part-time
faculty member at Columbia College Chicago, Roosevelt University,
and The School of the Art Institute Chicago. He has lectured on
art and music legal issues at a variety of universities and law
schools including, Stanford Law, Duke Law, Emory Law, Notre Dame
School of Fine Arts, Howard University, Cardozo Law, DePaul Law,
and University of Chicago Kent Law.
Bar Affiliations and Activities:
Serves as the Governing Committee as Membership Chair for the
ABA's Forum on Sports and Entertainment Law Industries. Member
of the Georgia, Illinois and American Bar Associations (ABA),.
Additionally, he has served as Board President and authored a
monthly column for New Art Examiner, a contemporary art criticism
magazine.
