- This concise outline prepared by the Committee on Community Economic Development presents the legal origins of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, laws regarding such Enterprises and their importance. This outline will be discussed at the Annual Meeting, 10:30 am, Monday, August 13th, in the French Room at the Fairmont San Francisco. The CED committee will be joined by the President, Legal Manager and Program Manager of the National Economic Development and Law Center (NEDLC). Roger Clay, the President of the NEDLC, is also the chair of the ABA's Forum on Affordable Housing and Community Development Law.
