Frankfurt, Germany • May 29-30, 2008
|
Dear Colleagues, We invite you to join us at the ABA Section of Business Law's first Global Business Law Conference, which will be held in Frankfurt, May 29-30. As you will see from the program schedule, the theme of the Conference will be business law practiced in a transnational context. The Section enjoys a well-deserved reputation for strengths in such fields as mergers and acquisitions, securities law, corporate governance, corporate compliance, legal opinion practice, business and corporate litigation, and cyberspace law, among others. This Conference focuses those strengths on the legal framework of cross-border transactions in 20 powerful CLE programs (all qualified for U.S./E.U. credit). In addition to attending the CLE programs we invite you also to sit in some of the committee meetings (open to all registrants) and to participate in working together with other lawyers from around the world to improve the law, improve the administration of justice, and improve the profession, while at the same time enhancing your skills and adding to your knowledge to enable you better to serve clients. While there will be a many North American lawyers at the Conference, we hope to attract an even greater number of European lawyers and expatriate lawyers working in Europe, both in private practice and in-house. We hope that many of those attendees will consider joining the Section, which will warmly welcome them as members. Attendees will enjoy:
Sincerely,
Charles E. McCallum Section Chair Special thanks to our program partner
