The Section of Business Law is proud to present the Fourth Annual Institute for the Young Business Lawyer in Washington, DC! This all-day institute is an incredible opportunity for the young business lawyer to obtain quality, introductory CLE and a wonderful introduction to the benefits of participating in the ABA and the Section of Business Law.

The Institute for the Young Business Lawyer will take place at the Renaissance Washington DC Hotel on Thursday, March 15, 2007.

Young Lawyer Forum

The ABA Section of Business Law Young Lawyer Forum serves as a center of gravity for young lawyers to transition into the work of the Section of Business Law while providing social and leadership opportunities for young lawyers to engage in the substantive work of the Section and its committees. Every Section member who is under the age of 40, or who has been in practice fewer than 10 years, is automatically a member of the Forum. The Forum provides a soft landing for young lawyers in the Section's committees.

The Committee on Diversity is proud to host a complimentary reception to kick off the Spring Meeting on Wednesday evening, March 14th (the night before the start of the Spring Meeting). We welcome all attendees of the Spring Meeting who share our vision and are interested in recruiting and retaining lawyers of color, women lawyers, lawyers with disabilities, gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender lawyers, young lawyers, and law students for active involvement in the Section. Learn how to navigate the Spring Meeting, the vast array of the Section's resources and meet experts in your field. Or, just come to network and reacquaint with old friends and colleagues. The Reception is cosponsored by the Young Lawyer Forum, the Committee on Corporate Counsel and the Ad Hoc Committee on Career Forums. We look forward to seeing you there!
