Committees/Website
  • Membership Directory. Use the online membership directory to get contact information for other ABA members and Leadership. Click "Membership Directory" in the left navigation bar. Type in your search criteria and click the "Search" button. This information is only viewable to ABA members. To update your information, see Contact Information below. Entering

  • Program Library. Use the Program Library search form to search for program materials. You can use keywords in the Title field. A search for "Fish" would return the program "Fred Fisher Memorial Program: Federal Preemption of Consumer Credit Law and Regulations." A search with "preemp" as the Title Keyword and "200" as the year would return any programs with both Preemption in the title and a date between 2000 through 2009.

  • Meetings Library. The Meetings Library is an archive of all meeting information available online including links to the meeting Web site, materials, Web store, and Online Program Book. The Meeting Library also contains order forms and CLE information.

  • Alphabetical List of Committees and Subcommittees. For an alphabetical list of Section of Business Law committees and subcommittees, click here and select "Business Law, Section of" from the drop-down menu. Click "Search". The Parent Entity for committees will be "Section of Business Law." The Parent Entity for subcommittees will be it's Section of Business Law parent committee.

Contact Information: Updating e-mail and Address
  • To update your e-mail address, physical address, or change your e-mail settings, click "Member Login" or "myABA" in the upper left corner. On the Profile tab click "edit."

    To change your address, enter in the new information and click "submit" at the bottom of the page to update your record.

    To change your e-mail settings, scroll down and check the appropriate box(es). Click "submit" to update your record.

PDFs: Viewing and Saving
  • To view a PDF file, click on it's link. In most cases, the file will open in a new window. If the file requires membership in the Section or membership in a specific committee, a login screen will appear if you are not already logged in.

  • To download a PDF file, right click (PC) or hold control + click (Mac) and select the appropriate menu option. If you are not logged in and try to download a PDF that requires a login, it may download as an unusable file named "securedarea.cfm.html." Login first before downloading protected files.

    If a PDF file is already open in your browser, you can also choose (File/Save) to save it to your PC.

Tips
  • Find in Page. Use your browsers built in search functionality to search for text within a web page. From your browser, choose "Edit/ Find (on This page)..." Type in your search term and click Find. The browser will highlight and move to the first occurrence of the word. Click "Find Next" to continue searching.
