DirectWomen Board Institute | Sandra Day O'Connor Board Excellence Award Luncheon
DIRECTWOMEN BOARD INSTITUTE
The DirectWomen Board Institute will be held February 20-22, 2008. The Board Institute will feature a faculty of some of the nation's leading experts on corporate governance, as well as experienced women directors, and will address topics including the roles and responsibilities of the director and the board, leadership and strategy, the use of financial statements in strategic planning, assessment of company performance, today's legal and regulatory environments, directors' and officers' liability and other current issues. In addition, the Board Institute will afford participants the opportunity to network with distinguished women lawyers currently serving on U.S. corporate boards, as well as top representatives of executive search firms.
SANDRA DAY O'CONNOR BOARD EXCELLENCE AWARD LUNCHEON
DirectWomen's events will culminate in the Sandra Day O'Connor Board Excellence Award Luncheon, at the Waldorf=Astoria Hotel in New York on February 22, 2008. Bringing together national leaders from the legal and business worlds, as well as the heads of the country's premier organizations dedicated to the advancement of women, the Luncheon will pay tribute to recipients of the 2008 Sandra Day O'Connor Board Excellence Award.
