Registration
The meeting registration fee allows registrants to attend your choice
of over 60 CLE programs and committee forums and all committee
and subcommittee meetings. Your registration fee does not include
meals served at meetings or social events identified as ticketed
functions. The absolute deadline for receipt of advance registrations
is March 11, 2005. The Section office must receive your
registration form and payment no later than March 11, 2005; 5:00 p.m.
Central Standard Time, in order for your name to appear on the
meeting roster. Registrations received after that date will be processed
onsite only.
Attending this Meeting for the First Time?
If this is your first time attending the Section's Spring Meeting,
here are a few suggestions to help make your meeting a success:
- Be sure to take advantage of the special discounted registration

on Thursday, March 31, 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.one of the best

6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. and mingle with old friends and meet new
ones while enjoying the Country Music Hall of Fame.
- Visit the Internet Café/Expo Area to check your e-mail, enjoy
refreshments, and check out the Section's products and services.
- Ask questions. Members and staff alike are ready and willing to
help you get active in the Section of Business Law.

want to learn more about committees and how to get involved? Do
you need assistance navigating the meeting? Our Section Officers,

button. Our leaders are always open to answering questions about
the meeting or the Section in general.
Ticketed Events
Ticket requests for all events must be
received no later than March 11. It is advisable to purchase tickets for
all desired events in advance, as many Section events do sell out and
there is no guarantee that tickets will be available on site.
Accommodations
The Section has secured a room block at both the Renaissance
Nashville and the Hilton Nashville Downtown. The hotels should
receive reservations as early as possible in order to be assured of
accommodations, but definitely no later than March 8, 2005. Reserve

Section of Business Law Spring Meeting.

The housing deadline is Tuesday, March 8, 2005. After this date,
guestrooms and rate are subject to availability. Individuals with
guaranteed reservations must cancel their reservations 24 hours
prior to check-in time on the day of arrival to avoid a one-night
cancellation charge.
A limited number of guest rooms are available at the Renaissance
Nashville and Hilton Nashville Downtown for academics, jurists, and
government lawyers. These rooms are offered at a reduced rate and
are available on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve a
discounted room, contact the hotel directly for details.
MCLE Credit
Accreditation has been requested for this meeting from every state with
mandatory continuing legal education requirements for lawyers. Please
be aware that each state has its own rules and regulations, including its
definition of "CLE". Certificates of attendance will be available at the
conclusion of each substantive meeting and program for both attendees
and speakers. You may contact the ABA Service Center toll free at
1-800-285-2221 or the Meeting Registrar, Toyin Alaka at 312-988-5564 for
confirmation of the number of CLE credit hours requested by the ABA or
credit approved by any particular state.
Written Materials
Written materials for all programs and committee forums will be
available in the meeting room at the time of the program/committee
forum. You will also receive a CD-Rom (which includes all original and
supplementary materials) when you check in at the registration desk and
online from this link, when available.
Internet Café/Expo Area
Throughout the meeting stop by the Section of Business Law Internet
Café in the Renaissance Nashville Hotel to check your email, relax,
enjoy refreshments, and visit with colleagues. Also, be sure to check
out information on Section products, as well as information on
products and services from exhibitors in the legal trade, at the
Business Law Expo. The Section of Business Law Internet Café and
Expo Area will be open Thursday, March 31 through Saturday, April 2.
