2005 Bar Activities Inventory

The 2005 Bar Activities Inventory provides a snapshot of the administration and programs of state and local bar associations. Over 200 questions were asked and 55 state bars and 112 local bars responded. See the table of contents for a list of the areas covered.

The list price of the 2005 Bar Activities Inventory is $225. However, bar associations pay only 50% of the price - $112.50.

State Bar of California – Converted midyear meeting into a rotating themed meeting, i.e., legal services, diversity in the profession, leadership
Kentucky Bar Association – Discontinued for financial reasons
Nebraska State Bar Association – Discontinued because of lack of participation
Oregon State Bar – Discontinued due to poor attendance
State Bar of Wisconson – Discontinued due to poor attendance
Colorado Bar Association – Discontinued due to declining attendance and support and the growth of sections’ annual meetings.

Local Bars
Monroe County Bar Association – Annual meeting consists only of tallying results of election – no member participation
Association of the Bar of the City of New York – Discontinued due to lack of attendance
Contra Costa County Bar Association – Activities are held throughout the year as well as bench/bar activities in lieu of annual/midyear meetings
Rockland County Bar Association (NY) – Discontinued due to lack of attendance
