Past Partnership Award Winners & Nominees
The ABA Partnership Awards Program salutes outstanding bar association projects that seek to increase the participation and advancement of lawyers of color in the organized bar and to attract students of color to the legal profession. This annual awards program is open to all bar associations that can demonstrate how their efforts nurture or increase racial and ethnic diversity in the legal community. Nominations are submitted in March..
All program submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges from the sponsoring organizations – ABA Standing Committee on Bar Activities and Services, Hispanic National Bar Association, National Asian-Pacific American Bar Association, National Native American Bar Association and the National Bar Association. Bar associations with winning entries will be notified by the end of April. Award-winning programs will be featured at the joint annual meeting of the National Conference of Bar Presidents, the National Association of Bar Executives and the National Conference of Bar Foundations.
We value our “partnership” with you and applaud your bar association’s continued commitment to increasing diversity in the legal profession.
