Jeffrey W. Brennan


 

Jeffrey W. Brennan is Assistant Director of the Federal Trade Commission's Bureau of Competition. He is responsible for the Bureau's Health Care Services and Products Division, which investigates and, upon Commission authorization, brings law enforcement proceedings against persons engaging in unlawful anticompetitive conduct in pharmaceutical, hospital, and physician practices markets, among others. Mr. Brennan graduated in 1985 from Georgetown University Law Center and is a former staff attorney in the FTC's Bureau of Competition. Prior to rejoining the agency as Assistant Director in July 2001, Mr. Brennan was a partner in the Washington, D.C. law firm Howrey Simon Arnold & White, LLP, where he was a member of the firm's Antitrust Practice Group.
