Frances Marshall
FRANCES MARSHALL is currently Special Counsel for Intellectual
Property in the Antitrust Division at the Department of Justice.
She also leads the Division's team working on the joint DOJ/FTC
Hearings on Competition and Intellectual Property Law and Policy.
Ms. Marshall received her law degree from the University of California,
Boalt Hall in 1988, after graduating from Carleton College and
spending two years in West Africa with the Peace Corps. Before
joining the Antitrust Division in 1994, Ms. Marshall worked at
the U.S. International Trade Commission, clerked for the Honorable
Raymond C. Clevinger, III of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the
Federal Circuit and spent some time in private practice.
