WELCOME to the October issue of The Antitrust Source. This is the first issue of The Source for the 2007–2008 ABA year, and my first issue as the new editorial chair.

The Source provides insightful articles on topical issues affecting antitrust and competition law in the U.S. and internationally. We are pleased to feature articles in this issue on the Whole Foods merger case and the new antimonopoly law in the People’s Republic of China. The issue also includes perspectives on the Supreme Court’s decisions in Leegin and Twombly, Judge Lewis Kaplan’s reflections on corporate criminal responsibility, scholarly commentary in The Paper Trail, and a review of Michael Whinston’s new book, Lectures in Antitrust Economics.
