WELCOME to the May issue of The Antitrust Source. Published bi-monthly, The Source is your on-line connection to the latest information and commentary in the world of antitrust. Each issue features up-to-minute analysis and insight on the most timely topics in antitrust by leading practitioners, economists, academics, and government officials. In this issue, we are pleased to feature an interview with Tom Barnett, Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Antitrust at the U.S. Department of Justice. Mr. Barnett, who is responsible for three of the six civil litigation sections, speaks candidly about his first year at the Division and the priorities of the Division in the coming year.
