NB: From the Editor

WELCOME to the March 2002 edition of The Antitrust Source, the ABA Antitrust Section's on-line source for the latest and best thinking in competition law. In addition to our regular departments like The Paper Trail and Hot Links, this issue features don't-miss interviews with two key players at the Department of Justice, Deputy Assistant Attorney General Deborah Majoras, and Chief Economist Michael Katz. Plus, Internet maven David Evans reviews Lawrence Lessig's important new book, The Future of Ideas: The Fate of the Commons in a Connected World. And the commentary continues on the Second Edition of Posner's landmark Antitrust Law, with provocative pieces by Donald Boudreaux (who makes the case for abolishing the antitrust laws) and Michael Carrier (who appraises Judge Posner's relevance to a Post-Chicago School, new economy world).

Please keep up the feedback we've been getting from you! Thanks to your comments, we've already made some changes to the site and the format (check out the change from double to single columns in the articles -- much easier to read on-line).
