Certiorari GrantedThe Court has granted cert. in National Credit Union Admin. v. First National City Bank & Trust, 90 F.3d 525 (DC Cir. 1996), which held that the NCUA reasonably interpreted the National Credit Union Act when it allowed members of different affinity groups to be members of a Federal credit union. Also involved in the case is the question whether banks are within the zone of interests of the Federal Credit Union Act, so that they may challenge the NCUA's determination at all. The Court has also granted cert. in Hudson v. United States, 92 F.3d 1026 (10th Cir. 1996), to determine whether a civil penalty imposed by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency foreclosed the government from criminal enforcement under the Double Jeopardy Clause of the Fifth Amendment.
