Committees are the lifeblood of the Section!  Please save the date for the 2006 Committee Chair Orientation, where committee chairs will gather to discuss ways of increasing committee effectiveness, pro­gramming, and visibility.  Following the meeting there will be a reception for the entire Section, with new and prospective members invited.  Attendees will be able to sign up for committees, and meet the commit­tee chairs and Section officers. This is an excellent opportunity for committee members to get acquainted with one another.

Reception:  There is no fee to attend the reception, but a separate registration is required. Members are encouraged to bring prospective members to learn about the Section. We ask that you register on-site. Fill out the registration form and bring it to the reception.

Location/Teleconference Details

Sidley’s office is located at 1501 K Street NW, Washington, DC.  The closest metro is the blue line at McPherson Square. A teleconference line will be available for the committee chairs’ meeting at 5pm Eastern.  The call-in information will be circulated at a later date.
