The Administrative Law and Regulatory Practice Section, Committee on Housing and Urban Development, will host an informal discussion with HUD’s General Counsel, Keith E. Gottfried.

Mr. Gottfried has served as HUD’s General Counsel since October 2005 when he was unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate. One Mr. Gottfried’s top priorities as General Counsel has been to enhance “regulatory transparency” at HUD.

Mr. Gottfried will discuss his views on “regulatory transparency,” what he sees as the key components of “regulatory transparency,” the impediments to implementing “regulatory transparency,” and the benefits to be achieved when an agency commits to ”regulatory transparency.”

Take this opportunity to hear about Mr. Gottfried’s views on regulatory transparency and how regulatory agencies should interact with the regulated community.
