The annual Administrative Law Conference, which is the premier meeting of the American Bar Association's Section of Administrative Law & Regulatory Practice, is a labor of love for the Section's leadership and for the distinguished speakers whose participation insures the high quality of this event. Last year, the Conference attracted over 500 attendees to its various CLE programs and seminars, special awards luncheon, and social events. In addition to the distinguished faculty, the attendees included leading administrative law practitioners from law firms and the corporate world, distinguished academics, distinguished government officials from the judiciary and Executive Branch, and young lawyers. The common attraction for all of these attendees is an appreciation for the ways in which "ad law" increasingly impacts their professional and everyday lives.

The Fall 2003 Administrative Law Conference will be held November 6 & 7 at the New Washington, DC Convention Center in Washington, DC. In light of the growing recognition accorded the conference as one of the year's most important events in the field of agency and government law, this year's Conference is expected to draw an even larger number of attendees to its programs, meetings, and social events.

Sponsorship Opportunity

To help defray the costs of the Fall 2003 Conference, and to contribute to defraying the costs of publication of the Section's notable and comprehensive annual survey, Developments in Administrative Law and Regulatory Practice, the Section is offering sponsorship opportunities to those supportive of the work of the Section. To encourage broad support for these educational efforts, the sponsorship amount is only $1500.

Recognition of Sponsors

Sponsors for the Administrative Law Conference will be recognized and gratefully acknowledged in all the publicity leading up to the Conference and during the event. This will include recognition in the Section's magazine, the Administrative & Regulatory Law News, distributed to over 5500 Section members, in the Conference program distributed to all Section members, on the Section's Web site, at signage at Conference events, and in the annual Developments book distributed to all Section members and found in leading law libraries and government offices nationwide. Finally, Sponsors will also be acknowledged during the Section's gala dinner.

Pledges and Payment

In order to ensure appropriate and full acknowledgement for our Sponsors, we will be begin offering Sponsorships June 1st, with a request that pledges be honored by September 15th. . While sponsorships will gladly be accepted after September 15th, both the Section and the Sponsor will be better served by commitments made at the earliest date possible.
