As Chair of the Administrative Law and Regulatory Practice Section for 2009-10, I welcome you to our website which contains a wealth of information regarding the leadership, on-going projects, publications, and other activities of our Section. We aspire to be among the most active of ABA Sections in terms of our service to members and our attempts beneficially to impact how federal and state governments conduct their work on behalf of the citizens of the Nation. As you can see from examining the list of our committees, they focus not only on issues of administrative procedure, but also on matters of substantive regulatory law and policy, touching every category of governmental activity. Our membership includes private practitioners, government employees, academics, and others, both lawyers and non-lawyers, of diverse backgrounds and interests, but all share a common fascination with and interest in regulatory law and governmental function. About the Section
The Administrative Law Section serves its members, the bar and the public at-large, by providing a congenial forum to share new ideas and the most recent information on substantive and procedural developments in Administrative Law and Regulatory Practice. Members of the Section receive the quarterly Administrative & Regulatory Law News magazine, the quarterly Administrative Law Review, and the annual Developments in Administrative Law compendium.
