33. ABA LEGAL SERVICES DIVISION HELPS CONSUMERS FIND LEGAL HELP
The standing and special committees of the Division for Legal Services collaborate to offer a Web-based guide for people seeking legal help.
The Web site at www.FindLegalHelp.org offers hundreds of state-by-state links to legal information and sources of legal help. The site is continuously updated and expanded; links to new sources of legal help are added weekly. Also provided are plain-English guides to how to find a lawyer, for free or for a fee, how to use a lawyer, how to deal with problems with a lawyer and how to pursue legal issues without a lawyer.
