Description
The online course attempts to bridge the gap between the attempt in the ABCs of Arbitrage to state the fundamental principles of the arbitrage bond provisions in section 148 of the Internal Revenue Code, and the current issues in this area, including those related to treatment of derivatives for arbitrage purposes both in original financings and in restructurings to address problems created by auction rate bonds.
