Shipping
ABA orders within the U.S.
are shipped via UPS Ground and delivery normally takes three to five business
days from the date that the order is placed. We also offer rush delivery
via UPS Next Day and 2nd Day for an additional charge. Rush orders must be
placed by 3:00 p.m. Central time (USA) to go out that same business day. Rush
orders entered after 3:00 p.m. will be shipped the following
business day. UPS Ground is available in the USA only. International orders
are shipped via expedited UPS delivery.
Shipping and handling rates
are based on order total and delivery destination. View
our shipping and handling rates.
UPS cannot ship to P.O.
boxes; a street address is required to ship orders via UPS. Orders received
with a P.O. box in the address will be shipped via U.S. mail.
Orders placed via mail
normally take 2 – 3 weeks for delivery. For
your convenience, we have a printable
order form.
To offer you a variety
of books and CLE, the ABA uses different fulfillment centers. Orders
containing both books and CLE may arrive in 2 or more shipments. You
will not be charged extra for separate shipments; the shipping and handling
charge is the same.
Returns
We want you to be satisfied
with your purchase. You may review your products
and return any item that you are unsatisfied with within 45 days of the order
ship date. You’ll receive full credit for that item, minus the shipping
and handling cost, if the following conditions are met: (1) the product is
in saleable condition and has not been marked or altered; (2) the product is

(ship date); and (3) a copy of the original ABA shipping document or other

Discounts
The ABA offers a number
of discounts off the regular purchase price of our products. ABA member
and sponsoring entity member discounts are shown on the product pages where
applicable. These discounts are based on your
ABA member profile; once you are logged in, you
will see and receive these discounts automatically. Not a member of an ABA
section or entity that published the book or CLE product? Join
the section online and receive your discount immediately.
Bulk discounts are also
available on many products. Look for the bulk discount information below
the product pricing information on the product page.
The ABA also may offer
discounts in connection with special promotions and products, and may offer
these discounts in a printed brochure or catalog, e-mail, or online. These
discounts are typically offered via a special source code or coupon code,
which will state the discount associated with it. Look for the source or
coupon code on the promotional material (usually located near the product
ordering information) and enter it on the Discounts page during checkout.
To qualify for a specific promotion, your order must be placed during the
specified promotion period and the relevant code must be provided at the
time of checkout.
Sales Tax
We only apply sales tax
to orders shipped to Illinois (10.25%) and Washington, D.C. (5.75%).
If you are tax exempt,
the ABA must have your Tax Exempt Entity Exemption Certificate or Exempt
Organization Exempt Purchase Certificate on file before you can use the Web
Store to place your order on a tax-exempt basis. If an order has already
been placed via phone or the Web Store and taxes were charged, please send
tax-exempt certificates to the ABA Billing Services Unit, 321 N. Clark St.,
Chicago, IL 60610 or fax to 1-312-988-5568 and request a tax exemption. If
applicable, include your ABA customer number and order number.
Security and
Privacy
Orders placed through our

For series downloads that release several episodes over an extended period of time, the purchaser will be added to a list serve by which they will receive notification when new episodes are released and available in Your Downloads. At this time, series podcasts cannot be purchased for recipients other than the purchaser.
Immediately after checkout, the download file(s) will be available in Your Downloads, which you can access in the left navigation bar of the Web Store home page if you are logged in. A link to Your Downloads is also provided on your order confirmation e-mail. If you purchased the download for a colleague, the recipient will receive an e-mail with download instructions.

The ABA Center for CLE offers on-demand streaming audio and video online CLE courses. These programs include downloadable course materials in PDF. To listen to or view these online courses, you will need Windows Media Player ® and a sound card.

During the checkout process for an online course, you'll be prompted to enter the name and e-mail address of the person who will be taking the online course ("course registrant"). An e-mail containing your personal link to access the course ("Course URL") will be sent to the e-mail address entered for the course registrant. Simply click on the link (or cut and paste it into your browser).
If you are purchasing the course for someone else, please enter that person's name and e-mail address on the Course Registrants page during checkout. You can also write a note for the course registrant, which will be passed along in the e-mail.
