Letter From the Publisher

Dear Colleagues:

Successful witness preparation can sometimes mean the difference between winning and losing a case. We've developed a new product to help you provide meaningful guidance to your clients and witnesses on the basics of what to expect, what to do, what to say, and how to answer questions at deposition and at trial: a two-DVD set, Witness Preparation for Trial and Witness Preparation for Deposition.

Each DVD lasts approximately forty minutes, and explains to the witness all the basics of testifying under oath, including the nuances of each of the two settings. In other words, these DVDs will cover the basics for the witness, meaning you can use that time more productively and then focus your time with the witness on the specifics of the case rather than the mechanics of testifying.

Each DVD is accompanied by a 16-page booklet, meant to be a takeaway for the witness so he or she can review all the basic prep instruction again shortly before testifying. (Packs of 25 booklets are available for sale separately.)

Witness Preparation for Trial and Witness Preparation for Deposition were created by Jan Mills Spaeth, who for more than twenty years has been one of the leading jury consultants in the country and who has personally prepped hundreds of witnesses.

This two-DVD package represents the latest in our commitment to you to provide high-quality, immediately useful resources, in the format and media most useful to you.

Sincerely,

Bryan Kay
