Best Practices for Officers

Beginning with Roxane Busey's great initiative in the 2001-2002 Section year, the Chair of the Section each year has asked each of the officers to prepare an outline of "best practices" pertaining to his or her position. The result has been a series of useful outlines to guide officers in meeting their responsibilities to the Section. The written practices should be only the beginning. Incoming officers should take great advantage of the institutional knowledge of those who came before them.

The SOC e-News is published three times a year by the Section Officers Conference (SOC). Each issue will contain information and resources specially designed for Section, Division and Forum officers.
