Capitol Music Group CEO Jason Flom is Keynote Speaker at American Bar Association Meeting
Industry Legal Titans Gather at Annual ABA Meeting on Entertainment and Sports Industry Law
Among the event’s high profile speakers is Jason Flom, chairman and CEO of the Capitol Music Group, who will deliver the keynote address at the Forum’s annual Ed Rubin Award Luncheon on Oct. 12.
Flom’s music industry career spans four decades and some 150 million albums. In January 2007, Flom was appointed chairman and CEO of the Capitol Music Group, EMI Music’s newly formed frontline pop, rock and urban label in the
In 1995, Flom established Lava Records, a new Atlantic label and joint venture/partnership, and turned it into one of the most successful start-ups in music business history. Additionally, when Flom was president of Atlantic Records, the label group had five albums enter the Billboard Top 200 chart in the top five.
